Privacy notice
Last updated: October 2026
This notice explains how Atkinson's First Aid Training ("we", "us") uses the personal information you give us when you send an enquiry through our website. We are the data controller for this information.
Who we are
Atkinson's First Aid Training is run by Damon Atkinson, based in Bury, Greater Manchester. You can contact us about privacy at [email protected].
What we collect
When you complete the enquiry form we collect the details you choose to give us:
- your name, company, email address and phone number
- the course you're interested in, number of staff, preferred dates and postcode or location
- your message, whether you have a competitor quote you'd like us to beat, and your consent to be contacted
Please don't include sensitive information (such as health details) in the form.
How we use it
- to reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote
- to arrange and deliver any training you book with us
We won't use your details for marketing or sell them to anyone.
Our lawful basis
We rely on your consent, given when you tick the box on the form, and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you (providing a quote). You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us.
Who we share it with
Enquiries are sent through a third-party form service (Formspree), which passes them on to our email inbox. This service, and our email provider, process the data on our behalf and may store it outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. We don't share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
If you don't go ahead with a booking, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you do book, we keep the records we need to run the course and meet our business and legal obligations, and no longer than necessary.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email us at the address above.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
